The Spring Style Rules The Traffic People Way

The Spring Style Rules The Traffic People Way

Spring is always a tricky time to get it right in the fashion state, I mean who knows what the weather will throw at us and forever changing. So we, at Traffic People have come up with our style rules for this season to guide you effortlessly into Spring.

I personally have fallen in love with this versatile piece of clothing for the total ease that one piece makes an entire outfit and not to mention it is your perfect day to evening friend, dress it up or dress it down. This 70s inspired jumpsuit just ticks all the boxes for me as it gives subtle nod to the yellow trend making waves over the high street this spring and with the black background it is a easy way to embrace bold floral without going to far out of your comfort zone.

The all over print can be daunting for the first time jumpsuit wearer so ease yourself in softly to the jumpsuit with a single colour pop. Single colours can still make a bold impact but in a much subtler way than an all over print. Throw over a printed shirt to give jumpsuit a more laid back softer daytime look and strip back to just the jumpsuit for all those summer events.

It is all about the fit and details with a jumpsuit so with a well fitted jumpsuit, you can even make a statement in a black jumpsuit. We have made the classic black jumpsuit with the fun Traffic People twist by adding tassels so if the pattern adverse can have fun in the jumpsuit trend.

By now you can tell I am a lover of a strong bold floral print, did the 70s inspired jumpsuit give it away? But I recognise it isn't for everyone but with Spring in the air (we hope!) now is the time to lightened those floral up from the moody tones we saw in autumn winter. Rock a floral kimono with your day to day jeans or find the perfect little spring floral dress.

Though I give the impression I am a flamboyant pattern lover, there are days went I like to tone it down and rock the gentler floral tone with my new love, the reinvented Luck Be a Lady Dress. this was a big favourite last year in the midi length so there is a mini version for the more vertically challenged like myself! Don't worry midi lovers, she is still around in your favoured length.

Occasionwear is an area where you can really embrace the bold floral prints but in a classic shape to ensure that you stand out from the crowd and get all the guests asking where your fabulous frock came from!

I love how floral trends have translated over the past couple seasons! It’s definitely going strong and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. I even anticipate that we will see some of these trends move into Fall 2018 collections too, especially seeing what walked down the runway during NYFW and MFW this year. That mixed with some Baroque patterns as well. Bringing back the entire vintage vibe along with it is just heavenly. Great post! The last dress is my favorite, but it’s really hard to choose between them all still!
